Announcing Catalyst Missions
Today, we’re launching a crucial piece of Catalyst’s community infrastructure — Catalyst Missions!
As we expanded our testnet offerings, it became evident that our community needed a consolidated space to interact with these missions without being overwhelmed or disoriented.
Enter Catalyst Missions. The idea was simple: build a one-stop-shop where every Catalyst testnet mission is accessible–for Lynx testnet and beyond. No more hunting around for Galxe links, sharing links on Telegram, or scrolling Twitter threads! Just a single, user-friendly website where everything about Catalyst testnet resides.
Not sure what to do on Catalyst? Missions are an easy way for individuals to see active missions that highlight unique cases that are only possible with the Catalyst Protocol. By completing missions, individuals can earn points, mint OATs as on-chain credentials of being a part of the Catalyst community, and climb up the ranks of the Catalyst community leaderboard.
Catalyst Missions is not only built for users, but also for developers. While the Catalyst Testnet Demo was live, we received inbound from many teams interested in integrating Catalyst–whether it be new chains that wanted Catalyst deployed or applications that wanted to leverage Catalyst’s cross-chain liquidity. Unfortunately, we did not have a streamlined way for them to reach out to us so that we could highlight their project.
We value open collaboration with the broader crypto community, and wanted a proper place to showcase our ecosystem. If you have a project that wants to integrate Catalyst in any capacity, Catalyst Missions is the highlight reel for everything that a user can do with Catalyst. If you’re interested in integrating Catalyst, visit the Missions page and reach out!
Looking Forward
In its current state, Catalyst Missions is a simple portal that showcases active applications and use cases on Catalyst. Over time, we plan on adding additional features–making the Missions page truly the one-stop-shop for all things related to the Catalyst ecosystem.
You can expect to see more missions, more UI features, more chain deployments–alongside new opportunities to learn, engage with the Protocol, and interact with the Catalyst community.
In the future, we envisage adding:
- User profile: customise your Catalyst profile and see active and previously completed missions
- Ranking system: highlight the top-contributing community members
- Real-time leaderboards: see how you fare against the wider Catalyst community
- Exclusive rewards: access special bonuses and perks for top-ranking members
We invite you to check out the Catalyst Missions webpage, complete Missions, earn points, and be a part of the growing Catalyst community.
Note: Catalyst Testnet a testing ground with no real-world asset value. It‘s important to note that assets on Catalyst Testnet will not be transferred to mainnet.
